EXCESSIVE SWEATING

The process of sweating is a natural regulator of the body's heat. However, some individuals may be prone to excessive sweating. An excessive tendency to sweat, also called Hyperhidrosis, can then be very stressful for the individual and lead to insecurity, especially in social interactions.

BOTOX CAN DO MORE

Botulinum toxin A can be used for mimic wrinkles, but also to reduce the formation of sweat and is therefore a wonderful tool to tackle this problem. In a certain dilution, Botox is injected into the skin in the area of the axilla with very fine injection needles and reduces the formation of sweat there.

For an uncomplicated treatment, it is advisable to shave the armpits before the treatment. Botulinum Toxin A provides a simple, safe but effective treatment option that can stop excessive sweat production for up to six months. The treatment is especially recommended in the warm summer months or before a holiday. The effect sets in after about seven to fourteen days after the treatment has taken place.
